After much discussion, we are excited to announce that the Outlaw Kart Showcase will now be a 3-Day Event taking place Sunday, September 4th – Tuesday, September 6th ! The Points Race originally scheduled for Sunday Night has been tentatively rescheduled for Friday, September 23rd which will make our final two points races of the season a double-header weekend (September 23rd & 24th ).
This change was brought on to give the drivers two full nights of preliminary action.
Each night (Sunday & Monday) will feature Qualifying, Heat Races & Main Events for the Box Stocks, 250 Intermediates, & Open Karts. Drivers will earn points on each preliminary night and will get to use the better of their two point totals to line them up in Tuesday Night’s Finale Night. This means that if a driver can’t compete in one of the Prelim Nights for any reason, they are still eligible to compete in Tuesday Night’s Finale without penalty. The full format will be released at a later date.
We are also excited to share that this year’s Outlaw Kart Showcase will offer a $10,000
Back Row Challenge for the Open Class. This offer will be made to the drivers on the front row
for the Tuesday Night Feature. The Open Main Event will pay $3,000 to win already, so if a
driver wins the Back Row Challenge they would pocket a cool $13,000 for their efforts! While
there is no Back Row Challenge being offered for the Box Stocks & 250 Intermediates they are still competing for a solid purse as well. The Box Stock Main Event Winner will pocket $750
while the 250 Intermediate Winner will take home $1,000.
The Entry Fee for all classes will be $100 for the 3-Day Event. Meaning you get three
nights of racing for just $100, which is less than $35 per night. There will be no Pre-Entries
required for this year’s event. We will likely start registration early on Sunday & Monday to
accommodate what is anticipated to be a large field of drivers. More information regarding
start times and entry fees will be released in the coming weeks.
Thank you all for bearing with us as we have made these changes. We do so with the
hope of providing the drivers and teams an event that is competitive, fun & rewarding. We
have a lot of exciting things in the works for this years Outlaw Kart Showcase, so stay tuned to
our social media channels as we will be providing updates there as we get closer to the event.
