Cycleland Spring Motocross Racing Postponed, Practice Days Still Set to Take Place March 29th, 2020 Effective immediately, Cycleland Motocross has elected to Postpone the 2020 Spring Motocross Racing schedule due to the restrictions put in place because of the COVID-19 Virus. With the difficult decision to postpone all Motocross races, we will instead be holding Motocross Practice Days every Sunday through the end of May. The only Sunday we will not be practicing on will be on Easter Sunday (April 12th). The Practice Day fee is $25, and practice will run from 9:00am-2:00pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we feel it is in the best interest of the riders and our crew to postpone the motocross racing season until further notice. We will put out a Press Release when we reschedule the postponed races. Please like our Facebook Page to stay up to date on all things regarding Cycleland Motocross. Cycleland Speedway Outlaw Kart Season Set to Begin Saturday April 4th with Practice Day
March 29th, 2020
The 2020 Cycleland Speedway is set to get underway this Saturday, April 4th with the season opening Practice Day. We have had many questions regarding the start of our season. At this point barring any changes in the coming weeks, we will be moving forward with our season.
With regards to the restrictions that have been put in place due to the COVID-19 Virus we would like to make sure that everyone continues to practice social distancing while at the racetrack. Meaning, parents and children must not assemble in large groups and should stay with their own group as much as possible. The Practice Day will serve as a trial run and we will need full cooperation from everyone in attendance if we are to be able to start our racing season the following weekend.
For the Practice Day, the Gates will open at 11am with a Drivers Meeting at 2pm. Practice will begin once the Drivers Meeting is completed. The only cost is for your Pit Pass. The Pit Passes are $25 each, while Grandstand admission is Free. There is no additional fee for your kart. Once you have paid to get into the Pit Area you are all set.
As long as we do not have any issues during the Practice Day, and unless there are any further restrictions put in place, we do plan on starting our race season the following Saturday, April 11th with the Annual Jim Shirley Memorial, which will serve as Points Race #1.
It has been a long off season and we are looking forward to kicking off the Outlaw Kart Season. To stay up to date on our Upcoming Events please follow our Facebook Page. That is where we will be posting any updates that may come forward in the coming weeks.
