(Chico, CA 2-3-22) … Track promoters Lowell & Becky Moural are excited to release the 2022 Cycleland Speedway Outlaw Kart schedule. A full schedule of events is planned with 20 nights of points racing action, and several special events throughout the season!
The first event of the season will be a Practice Day on Sunday, March 27th. Practice is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm and will run into the evening.
The first race night of the season will see the 19th Annual Jim Shirley Memorial serve as Points Race #1 once again.
Other special events throughout the season include the return of the SRT Spring Challenge taking place May 28th & 29th.
The 25th Annual QRC Cup Perpetual Trophy Night is scheduled for July 30th as the second night of a double header weekend.
A new addition to the schedule in 2022 is the Ed Brown Classic on August 20th. This will without a doubt be one of the biggest races of the season. We will be releasing more information on this event in the coming months.
The Outlaw Kart Showcase returns September 4th & 5th with a regular Points Race the same weekend (September 3rd) giving the racers & fans alike three straight days of racing at Cycleland.
A popular addition to the schedule last year returns with the 2nd Annual Grandpa George Trophy Night to round out the Championship season on September 24th.
The Caged Clones return for another season of action in 2022 as well. They are scheduled to run 11 Points Races throughout the season & will also be competing during the Awards Night. Defending Track Champion Johnny Terry will have his hands full with a large contingent of racers expected to frequent the Caged Clone Class.
