With the New Season, comes a few new changes to the Cycleland Speedway schedule.
The biggest change being that in 2025 the Caged Clone & Sportsman Divisions will split their time on the schedule and run a condensed 12 race season each within the 18 nights of Point Racing competition.
For some of the Point Races, the Caged Clone & Sportsman Divisions will alternate race weekends. We will have both divisions running on the same night for 7 Events, those being some of the bigger events of the season.
We struggled last season to get drivers in these two classes to commit to the full 18 race schedule and are hopeful that with a shorter schedule for these classes, it will make it more appealing to the drivers to compete for a Championship. All other divisions (R. Box, Box Stock, 250 Int., Open Int, & Open) will run all 18 Point Races this season.
The 2025 Season kicks off with a Practice Night on Friday, March 28th & the 22nd Annual Jim Shirley Memorial on Saturday, March 29th! This will be a Non-Points Event this season and will be a great opportunity for teams to get some track time prior to the Championship Season getting underway.
The Battle for the 2025 Track Championships will begin the following weekend as we have another Practice Night scheduled for Friday, April 4th and then Point Race #1 will hit the track on Saturday, April 5th!
Special Events such as the SRT Spring Challenge, Perpetual Trophy Night, Box Stock Nationals, Ed Brown Classic, and Grandpa George Trophy Night all return for 2025.
The Outlaw Kart Showcase name has been retired, and the event scheduled for August 18th & 19th will take its place. This event will be announced at a later date but mark your calendars as it will be one of the most special events of the season!
Flat Track Motorcycles will take to the track the first weekend in May. Friday, May 2nd will feature the 2nd Annual “Tribute to the Legends” Flat Track Motorcycle Event presented by Darkhorse Promotions with a $10,000 guaranteed purse! Then Saturday, May 3rd just down the road at Silver Dollar Speedway, the Progressive American Flat Track Series rolls into town for the 2nd straight year and finally on Sunday, May 4th the AMA Short Track Series returns to Cycleland Speedway! This gives the Chico Area 3 straight nights of Short Track Motorcycle Action!
We will close our season on October 18th by combining two of our favorite events into one action packed night of racing. The Outlaw Kart Awards Night will become the Cycleland TT 50 Lapper! We invite all our Outlaw Kart teams to come out and enjoy dinner and watch some intense TT Racing with the XR100 Class taking center stage along with the Pit Bikes, and for the 2nd year in a row the Caged Clones will join the TT Event! There will not be any other Kart Classes competing on this night. We will run all the races and then have Dinner and hold our Awards Presentation for the 2025 Outlaw Kart Season.
We are looking forward to having everyone back at Cycleland this season and cannot wait for the season to start!
2025 Cycleland Speedway Reserved Pit Stalls-
Many have been asking about 2025 Pit Stalls at Cycleland Speedway. Here is the plan!
Cost: $200 for the Season (This includes all Outlaw Kart Point Races & Special Events) If you miss 3 consecutive Point Races, your Pit Stall will be considered "Abandoned" and we will contact the next person on the Wait List to take over the stall.
Beginning now, anyone that had a Reserved Pit Stall in 2024 may contact us to reserve that Pit Stall for 2025. You have until February 21st to PAY and reclaim your Pit Stall from 2024. If you do not contact us to claim and pay for your Pit Stall it will go to someone on the Wait List, and you will have to get on the Wait List to attempt to claim a new Pit Stall.

For those looking to secure a spot that did NOT have a Reserved Pit Stall in 2024 please fill out the form linked below ASAP to be placed on the Wait List. We will contact those who fill out this form in the order received. So don’t wait to get on the list, as Pit Stalls will likely sell out quickly. You MUST fill out this form in order to receive a call for a Pit Stall, this is the ONLY way to get your name on the Wait List for a Pit Stall.
Pit Stalls 43-61 will continue to be “Free Parking” pit stalls. These spaces will be reserved for those that do not have a guaranteed Pit Stall. We will NOT be selling these Pit Stalls, as we need to leave some open space for those that choose not to purchase a guaranteed Pit Stall.
